Role Summary
This role is for an Assistant Relationship Manager who will work in the Treasury function of QNB with a KYC focus.
You will provide active support to the Treasury Dealers in obtaining all original account opening documentation for corporate customers and conducting applicable due diligence
You will assist with ongoing marketing and investor relations work and provide management information in relation to London Treasury business
You will conduct periodic reviews of all customer files to ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements
Role Description
Provide active support to the Treasury Dealers and fully integrate into the Treasury team
Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors and the Compliance function as and when required.
Ensure the completeness of documentation in the opening, review and maintenance of Treasury account relationships (conventional and Islamic), review documentation on all new accounts to ensure proper procedures were followed and red flags were properly followed up and approved.
Assist with KYC for other product lines, such as Corporate and Islamic Banking as required.
Maintain the safe custody of all documents by filing documents in accordance with the set policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Engage with customers and their representatives in obtaining and completing the documentary requirements necessary to open and maintain accounts with the Branch
Provision of relevant periodic Management Information for review at Committees (in accordance with Branch Governance framework).
Qualifications
Front office experience in dealing with customers is preferred, ideally within a Corporate or Treasury function.
Relevant experience in KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) directives/ rules and regulations and best practices.
Knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements and best practices relating to account opening/ closing/service.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English.
Good organizational skills and Independent and self-motivated
Good planning, organizing and analytical ability and detail and customer service oriented.
