Role Summary

The role will be responsible for the origination and execution of major corporate finance transactions including M&A, ECM, DCM, project finance, valuations and transaction structuring.  You will be expected to work across all areas of investment banking with specialization in one or more areas.  

Role Description

Implements the strategy and business plan to achieve the set volume, revenue, and profit targets.

Assists the CEO in preparing the strategic and business development plans

Responsible for the maintenance of high quality skills within the team.

Recommends appropriate pricing structures/ policies for products and services.

Identifies new business opportunities in conjunction with the CEO.

Ensures the provision of value added products and services to clients.

Originates new transactions including identifying opportunities and the preparation and delivery of pitches.

Manages, coaches and motivates the team to enhance service quality and meet assigned financial and non-financial targets.

Provides technical expertise and guidance to the team and prepares submissions for approval of transactions from the CEO and the Investment Committee.

Prepares pitches and mandates.

Manages the administrative process pertaining to the assigned engagement.

Reviews and approves deliverables prior to their issuance to clients.

Qualifications

Bachelors or higher degree, preferably in a relevant discipline such as Economics, Law, Finance or Accounting. Masters is preferred.

7 years experience (minimum) in an investment bank, law firm or a big four professional services firm and in a role directly related to corporate finance such as ECM, DCM, M&A or Project Finance is desirable, although his may be reduced for individuals with higher degrees or exceptional experience.
