Role Summary

The role has the primary responsibility of protecting QNB’s critical information assets to counter the risk of information loss, theft and unavailability. The role will promote security best practices across all departments of QNB. The role is primarily responsible for security assessment of applications, user access control of critical applications like SWIFT and monitoring of security logs from applications, OS, database, webserver.

Role Description

You will ensure that all system data is secured from unauthorized inquiries, intrusions, user errors, and system failures. You will manage all functions of the computerized access control for staff and oversee access permissions, maintain data, and conduct system audits. You will develop and maintain a secure list of active access groups and users.  You will possess an understanding of business processes and controls in all related operational areas.

Qualifications

You will demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience in the total scope of information security, in addition to a minimum of 2 years in a major bank. You will possess a Bachelor/Masters Degree preferably in computer science, computer engineering or related subjects. A professional certification such as MCSE is preferred
