Role Summary

The primary role is developing QNB’s institutions franchise across Europe through implementation of the FI Strategy

Role Description

You will be responsible for business origination through strong and effective relationships with Commercial and Investment Banks as well as Central Banks, to meet assigned financial and non-financial targets in compliance with QNB policies and procedures, regulations and prevailing best practices.

In addition, you will assist in the origination and development of FI Trade Products, and prepare credit recommendations in accordance with the Financial Institution Industry target market criteria and QNB credit standards

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in the banking industry, preferably with a large International Bank in Europe. He/she will possess relevant relationship management and credit documentation skills and an awareness of risk management concepts and practices and will possess a University degree and preferably an MBA in International Business or Finance. In addition, he/she will be well-informed of the market’s competitive structure, industry practices and regulations for the Financial Institutions Sector. The position will be based in London with geographic responsibilities across assigned European countries.
