Role Summary

The role is primarily responsible to implement and document, deliver and support the application by coding and documenting, testing, and maintaining the development of software programs and applications. 

Role Description

You will develop new applications as per user requirements and correct bugs and errors by making appropriate changes. In addition, you will conduct trial runs/perform testing of programs and software applications to ensure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.

You will compile and document the program and perform subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions. You will perform revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.

You will prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language. You will perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of system’s software. In addition, you will consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs.

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Financial Services with a specialization in application programming.
