Role Summary
This role is responsible for providing information and assist in developing and formulating QNB’s brand strategy pertaining to rebranding/ renaming, brand differentiation, market positioning, and brand discovery. Brand Strategy Developer determines the most innovative approach on how to enhance QNB’s image to the general public through using research data to identify the best way to introduce QNB and its new branding.
Role Description
You will create a comprehensive brand structure and design guidelines for a wide variety of QNB branding and merchandising material including; signage, brochures, fascia images, advertising and event setup materials for local and international QNB branches and subsidiaries.
You will identify the most important benefits and messages for key audiences of the brand.
You will ensure that the brand caters to the consumers’ needs and benefits, in a way that differentiates the bank from its competitors.
You will use all collected information to ensure that QNB’s brand is in line with the local and international market segmentation, and involves customers with different interests and use of the bank’s financial products and services.
You will ensure that the brand is based on differentiation, customers’ long term loyalty and competitive advantage.
You will ensure, in coordination with the Head of Local/ International Branding and Merchandising, the success in translation of defining qualities of the brand in execution.
You will assist the Advertisement function, in the development of advertising plans and strategies to make constant changes while plans are implemented for maximum effect.
You will determine brand strategy weakness and areas to be modified in order to reinforce brand presence as well as product positioning in the market and initiate re-branding.
You will maintain strong relationship with other sections in the Communications Department and effectively use the input provided by these departments in the development of the brand strategy
Qualifications
University graduate with a degree in Business advertising or marketing or related discipline. A Master’s in Business Administration.
7-10 years’ experience in brand management and advertising preferably in the Banking industry.
