Role Summary

You will be primarily responsible for the provision of relationship management services to assigned corporate customers seeking Islamic product solutions. You will ensure that a ‘one-point of contact’ approach is used to respond to and resolve all corporate customer Islamic needs and queries.

Role Description

You will manage Islamic product solutions for corporate customer relationships to achieve all volume, revenue, and profit targets set for the Relationship Management Unit.
You will achieve targeted budgets for new corporate customers, placements, borrowings and investments, corporate financing deals, profits, expense etc. in accordance to the QNB’s overall budget and strategy
You will develop new corporate customers seeking Islamic solutions and manage the assigned portfolio of existing customers to meet financial and non-financial targets in compliance with established QNB credit policies, procedures and standards.
You will be responsible for business development and origination as well as credit recommendations in favour of selected local and regional corporations
You will prepare comprehensive credit proposals for new customers that adequately address all relevant risk factors and satisfy minimum acceptable standards of CPM
You will identify opportunities and resolve problems with customer relationships and coordinate appropriate measures with concerned departments to ensure consistent, timely and accurate delivery of products and services to assigned CB customers.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) if assigned.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should:

Possess superior knowledge of the Islamic corporate banking business, its products and related risks, of Islamic banking relationship structures, industry practices and regulations, gained through an established career in Islamic Banking.

Have relevant and demonstrable relationship management experience built on sound credit background

Possess a University degree, preferably in Finance.

Have excellent English and good Arabic language skills.

Possess international experience/cultural exposure. 

Possess good knowledge of operations and control.
