Role Summary:

This truly is an exciting opportunity to join the leading bank in Qatar.

You wil be primarily responsible for developing Retail Deposit / FX products and services and managing their successful implementation and sales through the respective sales channels.

Role Description:

You will develop and implement strategies in conjunction with Product Manager / Head of Retail Wealth Management to achieve the agreed sales and revenue targets.

You will achieve sales volume growth targets and profit goals across range of products and services (CASA, TD, Payroll Accounts, FX, Bancassurance, etc.)

You will continuously monitor the product performance through their achievements and recommend competitive marketing campaigns targeted at different segment.

You will prepare business proposals recommending development of new products/ enhance existing Deposit, FX, Payroll, etc. products and services and build and maintain strong business relationship with key companies to secure the company payroll and employee accounts. Establish relationship with Corporate Banking RMs.

You will develop relationships and closely coordinate with Direct Sales and Branches to source and fulfill bulk customer acquisition and provide necessary tools and support to Sales and Branches to achieve their targets.

You will develop annual marketing plan, closely coordinate with marketing department to ensure timely delivery and launch of effective marketing campaign.

You will prepare user specification for system development requirement, monitor progress and conduct UAT.


You should have 5 years banking experience, of which at least 3 years in a similar role in a major banking institution.

You must have a Bachelor’s degree.

You will have the following additional skills/knowledge:

  • System reporting and administration
  • Solid knowledge of product development within banking
  • Expertise in writing professional business proposals
  • Ability to write system/user specification for ITD, conduct UAT.
  • Ability to follow through with project initiatives and ensure timely implementation and delivery of marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Ability to train branches, conduct presentation and get idea across to a diverse audience
  • Strong sales and marketing background.
