Position Summary
The Head, Regional Client Services for Middle East and GCC will be responsible for the planning and execution of regional communication plans and roll out campaigns to grow QNB brand into a major player in the financial services industry within the region.
You will implement global communications strategy using all communication channels to promote the bank's products and services as well as the overall brand in Middle East and GCC region (including Turkey). Working closely with the wider corporate communications team and in-country teams, this role requires excellent communication and project management skills.
You; as well must have solid experience in executing and managing integrated communications campaigns to both B2B and B2C audiences, ensuring it is in alignment with global communications strategy.
Position Description
Act as a focal point between the QNB’s branches, subsidiaries and representative offices and internal stakeholders (within Middle East & GCC region) and the communications department both locally and regionally.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key executives, serving as a trusted communications advisor who problem-solves and strategizes with management on a range of communications topics in support of business line and QNB strategic initiatives and goals.
Spearhead and execute region-wide marketing and communications campaigns to build QNB brand.
Collaborate closely within Group Communications, in-country communications team and other partners across the region to ensure smooth and optimised execution of integrated communications and brand campaigns, or those that are of strategic importance to the organisation, cross-functional teams and in communicating the strategy to the regional countries, ensuring it is in alignment with global communications strategy.
Continually gauge the effectiveness of communications programs, adjusting strategies and tactics as appropriate. Communicate results to management and track results for KPI purposes.
Deploy and manage customer focused initiatives in order to bring positive cultural change.
Assist country communications team in identifying new communications trends in traditional and online communication by providing workable solutions
Communicate the business needs clearly to the Group Communications and present the Group’s recommendations candidly.
Represent the Business at the Group Communications and the Group Communications at the Business Unit/ Customer.
Track progress of every request and communicate it to the Business/Country when needed.
Ensure that the final product is delivered, within budget and time to render through fostering productive communication between business teams/country teams and Group Communications staff, identifying common goals, and making those happen.
Work closely with Head of Global Client Services on all issues related to budget and resource allocation for certain requests.
Follow the Branding and CI guidelines to ensure that material/ requests are as per QNB’s branding strategy
Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
Understand the integration of Divisional plans and support Departmental plans.
Establish targets and designs systems to fulfil the strategic objectives & Mission of the Bank
Qualifications
Minimum; Bachelor degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or other related discipline.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in Regional Marketing Communications or a related field preferably with a regional/international bank.
Senior level experience with B2B and B2C as well as exposure to retail, corporate or institutional banking and products will be a huge plus
Required Special Skills:

Knowledge of media channels in Middle East & GCC

Demonstrable record in both traditional and digital marketing channels.
