Role Summary
Role Description
Ensure that all areas of the bank are supported with proper computer systems in accordance with the IT standards.
Consult with Program Directors and Management Team to create efficient workflow.
Consult with Quality Assurance staff to create Performance Measurement Reports for analytical review.
Maintain maximum system up time for maximum end-user productivity.
Maintain contact with Head of Domain Support and serve as liaison between the technical team and customers.
Provide support for All non-core Servers and Infrastructure Applications (Active Directory, Exchange, Archiving, Enterprise Backup, ECC, Sharepoint, etc.), including upgrades, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Support the systems administration activities, installation and upgrades.
Develop or enhance monitoring applications and scripts.
Work with the Systems Group to deploy Web capabilities.
Provide support for servers and infrastructure application users, including upgrades, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Install components; analyze problems; diagnose and repair systems.
Oversee technician and consultant as needed.
Standardize practices and procedures based on a software development methodology.
Provide Severs Computing Support for hardware and software.
Apply software patches / upgrades and respond to user requests as needed.
Diagnose problems with hardware.
Repair or upgrade hardware.
Perform pro-active maintenance on all Domain computing equipments.
Serve as a site representative to the Disaster Recovery committee and participate in periodic DR testing.
Provide assistance to corporate MIS, and other personnel as required.
Create and generate all required system documentation.
Maintain local MS servers and small network.
Administer Domain Services, Active Directory on Server, multiple SQL Servers, IIS Servers and Terminal Servers.
Configure and build customized Server solutions for customers.
Assist local users with Windows server and desktop issues.
Assist the Domain Administrator for more complex duties.
Create and implement end-user training for all program staff and managers.
Possess a superior understanding of IT tools, techniques and methods.
Identify related areas for professional development of self and act to enhance professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration or a related technical field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of IT and Domain environment.
