Role Summary

You will be responsible for creating and/or acquiring content for websites, email newsletters and other online communications media. The incumbent is also responsible for developing; expanding the current site designs and leads appropriate redesigns when needed.

Role Description

Provide input in related budgets to facilitate the delivery and execution of the communications budget and strategy.

Support in building and maintaining strong and effective communication flow with all departments to achieve the Group’s goals/ objectives.

Assist in maintaining regular contact with Business Heads, Managers and Leaders to ensure full integration and congruence objectives with Business goals and objectives. 

Implement the departmental policies and procedures which will set out the principles, methodology and techniques to establish effective presence in internet.

Responsible for the content and functionality of the Company Internet. He or she directs how content will be arranged; how graphics will look, and how scripts interact with the content and other media, including databases and multimedia presentations.

Develop, expand, and manage current site designs and lead appropriate redesigns when needed.

Assist in ensuring all contents are consistent in terms of branding and strategic message.

Coordinate with media and event management agencies when needed.

Create artwork to appear on web pages.

Analyze business and user requirements and make recommendations regarding the design and development of web-based e-commerce communications solutions.

Maintain and build QNB image and reputation and assist in raising the company profile.

Develop logos and company mottos through the use of graphics and HTML-generated designs.

Coordinate with relevant Business Unit to gather information and requirements in order to obtain and identify new content for Internet distribution.

Locate and select appropriate, existing multimedia content, including still images, animations, music and video.

Work with the other members of the Group to ensure the integrity of the information provided on all web pages.

Provide the group consulting and support services for using Internet website and available web browsers software.

Manage and support subordinates, ensuring a superior quality of communication and project delivery.

Possess excellent design and conceptual skills in combination with an in-depth knowledge of the technology and software applications used to create web pages.

Knowledge of HTML, Quark, Adobe and Database management as well as web-page and design such as Photoshop and Illustrator.

Actively participate in meetings which aim to assess individual as well as the department’s overall performance.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or multimedia / communications.

Minimum of 3 years experience in content Management and Web Design.
