Role

this role will perform and supervise the processing of all corporate loans and providing investigative, analytical, operational, administrative support to Corporate Banking in line with QNB policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

You will perform checklist requirements for loan documentation preparation and review process and ensure all requirements have been fulfilled. and facility applications have been appropriately authorized by the designated personnel.

You will conduct the necessary checks and balances pertaining to documentation and limit inputs/ updates prior to authorizing disbursement of funds/ utilization of facilities to safeguard the Group interest.

You will maintain open communication with customers, loan officers and relevant third parties to ensure proper and timely processing and submission of all applications / documents for processing.

Timely review all corporate loan proposals, in accordance with set procedures for receiving, processing, checking and filing loans documentation.

Liaise with Corporate Banking Department for the receipt of loan documentation and to resolve any issues/ deficiencies, Group Compliance on QCB related compliance issue, and with the Group Risk as and when needed.

Input all data in the core banking system in an accurate and timely manner as and when required.

Handle large volume of inquiries on loan status and reply balance verification from vendors, accountants and auditors.

Ensure that loan documents are safeguarded in a fire-resistant cabinet; and ensure that anyone removing any loan document from this cabinet signs a control ledger.

Coordinate settlement and disbursement of corporate loans.

Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products in order to better meet customers' needs.

 Ensure high standards of data protection and confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Business Administration

Minimum 7 years experience in the banking industry with special emphasis in corporate loans processing.

 Other skills:

  •  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of the Corporate Loans/ Commercial Loans and Agency Services

  • Computer proficient (MS Office and bank applications)

  • Present a professional image and have sound judgment and patience.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills coupled with decision making ability.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Understands the relevant laws, regulations and practices pertaining to corporate loan processing.
