Job Summary

The Vice President of Asset Management Domestic Sales (Qatarization) is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the growth and success of domestic sales for the QNB’s asset management products and services. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and leading a sales team to achieve revenue targets and market share goals within the domestic market.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for asset management products and services targeted at domestic clients.

  • Identify market opportunities and create tactical plans to drive sales growth and expand market presence.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key domestic clients, including institutional investors, financial advisors, and other stakeholders.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for major accounts, addressing client needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and providing guidance to achieve sales targets.

  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management for sales staff.

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, ensuring alignment with targets and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales activities, market trends, and competitive landscape.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.

  • Use insights to refine sales strategies and enhance product offerings.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and portfolio management, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.

  • Coordinate with senior management to ensure strategic alignment and resource allocation.

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Identify and manage risks related to sales operations and client relationships.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 -15 years of experience in sales within the asset management industry, with a strong focus on domestic markets.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets.

  • Extensive experience in managing key client relationships and understanding domestic market dynamics.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence.

  • Basic to moderate in investment and finance.

  • CISI Certificate Level 1 is required.
