Role Summary
Role Description
Implements KPI’S and best practices for Global Mobility seeking to introduce best practices to its elements including workforce planning.
Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent.
Provide accurate financial forecasts in conjunction with Group Comp & Ben to highlight the cost implications of certain modelling.
Track and monitor global mobility related costs to ensure they remain within budget.
Develop and improve programs, policies and administration of the mobility process to meet QNB’s business needs
Continuously seeking to maintain/develop QNB’s capability whilst seeking to do so in a cost effective manner.
End-to-end coordination of assignments, including administrating and monitoring of all in and outsourced services and activities throughout the life-cycle of an assignment (immigration, relocation, payroll coordination, incl. assisting in tax and social security topics, children’s education, partner support and insurances).
Calculate financial aspects of moves including cost projections, tax and mobility stipend and ensure cost effective mobility programs
Conduct in depth policy counselling for assignees and family members.
Prepare assignment contracts and corresponding compensation packages.
Coordinate with local country teams and/or outsource vendors regarding visa applications and renewals.
Coordination of the year-end process of data collection of assignment compensation packages and tax data, in collaboration with the payroll and accounting departments.
Provide Mobility-related expertise to all relevant staff (Management, Human Resources, Group Financial Control and Subsidiaries) to facilitate their use of mobility policies and procedures
Act as the main point of contact and develop a high level of customer service and a support model for all staff undergoing deployments
Train staff within the Group on Global Mobility policies and procedures
Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations and relationships with staff, managers and external vendors
Coordinate with all parties to determine individual transferee packages and document in the mobility agreement
Work with Finance and local HR to Track and report mobility related costs and ensure proper cross-charge of expenses for deployments
Maintain and improve the process for tracking transfers and producing metrics for key stakeholders
Monitor additional aspects of the Global Mobility program to identify opportunities for improvement
Conduct market analysis and benchmarking review for mobility and relocation program components, including competitive market data and cost analysis for implementation
Provide high-quality consultation pertaining to mobility-related issues like the appropriateness of an assignment or transfer, cost considerations, immigration and relocation requirements, and the impact to the employee or their family
Manage all communications with program participants and other stakeholders, and ensure documentation is kept up-to-date
Manage international assignment through the development of guidelines on assignment / localization package from business perspectives and review and approval of individual assignment / localization packages under the guidance of the HR Leader, Comps & Bens
Provides technical guidance and policy interpretation on all aspects of the Banks Global Mobility Program.
Ensures knowledge transfer throughout Mobility projects building up local knowledge and capability to ensure that the Bank develops a long term capability.
Qualifications
University graduate preferably with a Major in Human Resources, Banking, Business Administration or Finance (related field of study), Masters preferred
At least 6 years of relevant International Mobility experience in any industry, preferably in a Human Resources Consultancy or professional services environment.
Exposure to International Tax, Immigration and Compensation & Benefits would be highly desirable
