InfoSec Governance Team Leader

Job Requirements:

1. Support on developing and defining baseline information security requirements in accordance to business need and international standard.

2. Keep the Governance Manager/Associate updated with the Governance challenges.

3. Follow the Cyber Security strategy of the bank to assure the alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.

 

4. Support Compliance Team on assessing the effectiveness of the various information security controls across the Organization.

 

5. Engage in new bank’s projects from assessing the proposed architecture and QNBAA Security controls.

 

6. Support in the creation and the updates on architecture standards, security baseline, hardening guideline and business configuration policy and submit it to Governance Manager/Associate for review

.

7. Support on the ongoing improvements related to security management policies, procedures, and processes reference to Cyber security standards (ex: CBE Framework, NIST, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS).

 

8. Responsible for maintaining a regular policy that addresses information security to all staff.

 

9. Coordinate and engage in the internal audit-based requirements.

 

10. Follow up on recommendations set by Internal/External Audit or CBE inspection and follow up until closure.

 

11. Test Staff awareness by creating phishing campaigns with attractive ideas and evaluate the phishing campaigns results

.

12. Conduct information security awareness sessions to newcomer staff and to phished staff (in the phishing campaign).

 

13. Submit E-learning course to InfoSec Governance Manager / Associate for review and validation.

 

14. Support on Information Security Budget (Capex, Opex & Accruals).

 

15. Review InfoSec budgetary and financially reports and submit it to Governance Manager/ Associate for approval.

 

16. Communicate with procurement department requests for new systems, licenses & licenses renewals process and manage information security services invoices.

 

17. Participate in validation the technical proposals from procurement department for new systems & licenses  support to be checked & provide InfoSec technical evaluations for vendors offers.

 

18. Overall responsibility for InfoSec vendor document refresher/ review, vendor termination procedures.

 

20. Manage and supervise subordinates, provide them with guidance to achieve their tasks efficiently.

 

21. Ensure adhering to policies and procedures in order to guarantee that QNB ALAHLI business in conducted in compliance with Local Laws, CBE, QNBAA Rules and Regulations, as well as, International Standards

22. Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of Permanent Supervision system, compliance, money laundering and workplace success guidelines whenever & wherever possible.
