Data Base Manager
Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising & assuring efficient implementation of all customer & noncustomer screening alerts to ensure adherence to bank’s internal sanction policy and protect the Bank from any reputational, operational, financial, sanction & regulatory risk.
Job Specifications:
1- Supervise the Compliance Customer & Non-Customer Screening Team ensuring that all alerts have been reviewed and properly investigated prior to any decision taken on alert.
2- Assist Compliance team in identifying risky and certain suspicious clients or non-clients to ensure adhering to Sanction Internal Policy in all implemented decisions.
3- Escalate and validate high risk alerts that are confirmed to involve embargoed/sanctioned country or any blacklisted party to Head of Sanctions & Filtering Unit & The Sanctions & Countries Risk Rating Manager
4- Review and validate escalated cases from pending queue without feedback from concerned parties.
5- Escalate & recommend any new screening rules and any updates as per screening global standards that might require enhancement on our filtering tools regularly to Head of Sanctions & Filtering Unit
6- -Monitor the efficiency of bank’s filtering tool, evaluate and escalate any deficiency and/or any problem faced to the Head of Sanctions & Filtering Unit and the concerned Project Manager
7- Take part in reviewing any update in any internal bank procedure or any new product to provide the sanction opinion if needed.
8- Ensure the correct adoption of policies and procedures in order to guarantee that the bank business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal Rules and Regulations, as well as International Standards
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration.
Experience:
8 years of experience in AML, Network and Bank Screening Tools.

High sense of judgments
Ability to manage different tasks and work under pressure.
