Time Filtering Team Leader
Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising & handling efficiently the real-time transaction sanctions filtering alerts to ensure adherence to bank’s internal sanction policy and protect the Bank from any reputational, operational, financial sanction & regulatory risk.
Job Specifications:
1- Supervise & evaluate Compliance SWIFT Filtering Executives by validating their decisions on all alerts have been efficiently reviewed & investigated prior to any decision taken on alert.
2- Assist Compliance SWIFT Filtering team in defining risky and certain suspicious SWIFT messages.
3- Ensure adhering to Sanction Guidelines and Policy in all implemented decisions.
4- Consult and handle high risk/blocked alerts with Real Time Filtering Manager
5- Validate the feedback received on the pending investigated alerts from the operation team & Network branches to take final decision.
6- Escalate & recommend any new screening rules and any updates as per screening global standards that might require enhancement on our filtering tools regularly to Real Time Filtering Manager.
7- Monitor the efficiency of bank’s filtering tool & evaluate & escalates any deficiency & or any problem faced to the Real Time Filtering Manager
8- Review and research complex transactions that are placed in the pending queue, to identify if more information is required.
9- Ensure the correct adoption of policies and procedures in order to guarantee that the bank business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal Rules and Regulations, as well as International Standards.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration.
Experience:
4 years of experience in Banking Swift Transfers/ Trade Finance/ AML/ Sanctions.
Skills:
Knowledge of local and international sanctions
Analytical Skills
High sense of judgments
Ability to manage different tasks and work under pressure.
Fluency in English
