Job Summary

The incumbent is primarily responsible for providing effective support to the Client Management and Business Development team. The incumbent will be responsible for proactively assisting in managing client relationships, assist in on boarding/off boarding (client life cycle management), answering queries from clients and maintaining and performing ongoing daily tasks in accordance with established procedures and routines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the work to make sure that the agent/account network is operationally efficient and optimized to suit the underlying business purpose.

  • Work with due diligence and making sure all aspects of QNB network relationships are compliant and fit for purpose.

  • Work for an operational and cost effective agent/account network.

  • Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) agreed with the Principle Specialist of Product Development and Network Management is achieved.

  • Assist in the performance reviews and preparation in due-diligence visits on the appointed sub-custodians network performance according to their service level agreement.

  • Responsible for all requests and demands that might come for authorities related to custody including regulatory reporting.

  • Deep understanding of systems and custody operational processes.

  • Contribute to the creation of client SLA.

  • Contribute for all the third parties vendor SLAs.

  • Work hands on to make sure client get market updates and product information - News Flashes.

  • Attend service meetings with clients when needed as product specialist Assist in the work to maintain and build an effective sub custodian network to support the clients and operational needs in respect of global market services.

  • Assist in the work to ensure that the global sub-custodian provides the appropriate level of support for the following functions:

  • Settlement and safekeeping across all supported markets Asset servicing including corporate governance

  • Taxation

  • Cash management

  • Reporting

Education and Experience Requirements
  • University graduate preferably with a Major in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology - Masters preferred.

  • 5 years of experience of which min 3 years working with Global Custodians or Network Management or International Brokerage or banking with an international institution in relationship management or Investment.

  • Strong track record in managing business-to-business relationships with focus on sales and client service.

  • Direct experience in a market in either Europe or the USA or with an international institutional based in the region - at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
