Supply Chain Finance Product Management Lead

Narrative Description:

Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the value proposition for Supply Chain Finance products via recommending innovative ideas & plans for Products management.

Managing Supply Chain Finance products life cycle effectively through utilizing all needed resources and skills. (Products included and not limited to Lending programs, new facility types, tailored facility structure, Digital platforms/products, etc.…)

Responsible for maintaining a Unique Value Proposition (UVP) for the bank via recommending innovative ideas & plans for Supply Chain Finance Products Management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1.Maintain full Knowledge of the products and business model including its value proposition and the desired business objectives and carry out the product roadmap planning.

2.Acts as the central point of contact for all SCF-related communication, projects and business partners like Visa and Mastercard, overseeing SCF projects and managing relationships with strategic clients and partners, ensuring all requirements are met.

3.Initiates projects and create products to provide value-added benefits to clients across corporate, SMEs, MVSEs, and retail sectors all levels of the chain.

4.Introduces new digital business solutions and collaborates with SCF platforms to enhance the digital infrastructure of the supply chain finance business line.

5.Analyzes and establishes product specifications considering various factors such as pricing and target segments, in addition to reviewing and approving structured new product programs for SCF before submission for management approval.

6.In coordination with the portfolio analysis team, conduct analysis to identify the red flags and potential areas for growth (negative profitability, unutilized facilities, etc.)

7.Monitor recently launched projects closely, conducting periodic assessments to ensure profitability, alignment with the SCF vision, and adherence to high-quality standards.

8.Maintain and expand the current client portfolio by introducing new features and enhancements, such as loyalty programs and campaigns.

9.Representing the SCF business in meetings, events, workshops (internally and externally) and prepare/update all internal and external materials for events, workshops, clients related to the SCF business line.

10.Utilize existing products within QNBAA across all business lines to enhance the overall value proposition and facilitate cross-selling opportunities.

11.Coordinate with OM & strategy teams to develop implementation plans for new products and enhancements, ensuring alignment with relevant processes and documentation requirements.

12.Responsible for providing regular updates on project progress to Head of Supply Chain finance product management while addressing any obstacles that may hinder project completion within set target dates outlined in the KPI scorecard.

13.Negotiate new partnerships in line with business objectives to drive growth and capitalize on opportunities, while overseeing client surveys and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

14.Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that products offered include SCF features tailored to each client's segment, streamlining the acquisition process.

15.Coordinate with the Communication Team to prepare advertising materials such as flyers, website content updates, launch campaigns related to the B2B products, commercial offers, events, SM posts etc. or executing market research and competitors’ analysis, to identify market opportunities and develop product roadmaps in addition to product launching activities and associated go-to-market strategies to increase sales and encourage the use of new services and capabilities.

16.Ensure SLA fulfillment for all workflow cycles related to SCF business, regularly enhancing reporting schemes and utilizing data analytics to make informed decisions and optimize digital banking services.

17.Monitor the market developments, relevant technologies, and competitors.

18.Ensure all client’s requests received from the various channels (Website, SMS, etc....) are sent and handled by the SCF acquisition team in a timely manner.

19.Deliver required coaching to team members to maintain essential knowledge and skills.

20.Handling any special requests /assignments given by the Head of Supply Chain Finance management &/or head of Division

21.Support the Head in developing a comprehensive annual or semi-annual advertising campaign plan aligned with the bank's overarching objectives, ensure creative collaboration with the Head of Communication, and maintain continuous ROI measurement through diligent monitoring and analysis of campaign outcomes.

22.Responsible for evaluating the performance of the team members and assigning clear & definite tasks for the team members within a decided time frame, while ensuring constant follow up & successful tasks finalization.

23.Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace success guidelines whenever and wherever possible.

24.Adhere to policies & procedures in order to guarantee that QNB ALAHLI business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal Rules & Regulations, as well as International Standards.

Job Specifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce.

Experience:

4 - 6 years of experience in the same or relevant field for Lead Position

8 years of experience in the same or relevant field for Manager Position

Skills:

Excellent communication, leadership, and managerial skills

High analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills

Innovative, self-motivated, cooperative, creative, and proactive

Ability to manage different tasks and assignments in parallel and in timely manner

Fluent in Arabic and English written/spoken
