Role Summary

The incumbent is primarily responsible for acting as the senior project lead for all requests received by the Group Communications from different units, subsidiaries and branches. These requests could be about Advertising, Branding and Merchandising, or Public Relations; where the incumbent will lead Campaign management function and provided integrated marketing solutions, and acts as the focal point between the Group Communication division and the rest of the Bank. The incumbent will also coordinate with all functions in the Group Communications Department when needed to ensure proper delivery of work to Business Units/ Customers within Qatar & region assigned to them.

Role Description
  • Provide campaign management best practices and integrated solutions for all briefs and MPPs

  • Provide strategic thinking and enable ROI / ROX based campaigns and direction for other units to render the briefs such as Advertising, PR, CSR.

  • Provide reporting and dashboards across key projects in alignment with planning and brand strategy AVP and other department stakeholders.

  • Devise strategic planning framework and guidance on briefs / MPPs received by business and facilitate journey mapping with marketing agencies.

  • Creating project / Campaign charter for all new key projects to outline the project scope, plan, budget, risk, key stakeholders and available resources within GCD units for effective project delivery.

  • Act the network custodian between the Bank’s branches / subsidiaries / departments (within one region) and the Communications Department both locally and internationally.

  • Communicate the customers needs clearly to the Group Communications and present the Group’s recommendations

  • Provide regular briefing and project status updates with project owners.

  • Receive, process and manage all MARCOM related requests (branding/ re-branding, merchandising material, advertisement)

  • Create and continuously enhance briefing documents, work logs, dashboards and action points to facilitate communication amongst all internal

  • Follow the Branding and CI guidelines to ensure that material/ requests are as per QNB’s branding strategy.

  • Translate organizational initiatives in specific objectives and set priorities for various departments by carefully considering resource allocations and interdependencies.

Qualifications
  • University graduate with a degree in Business advertising or marketing or related discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Account Management preferably with an advertising firm or a local/ Gulf bank.

  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate a team and thoroughly follow up on project plans and project implementations.

  • Ability to follow through with initiatives.

  • Planning, organizing ability.

  • Ability to work with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
